Grapevine growth this season - Summer 2016-17
It has gone very well. I'm hoping for even more prolific growth in the next season. Anne asked that if it ever produces grapes, to bring some to her, as Dirk would have liked that. The vine is from her garden, initially planted by Dirk (RIP).
Dirk died 14 Feb 2013, aged 68, after a long illness. He was my aunt Anne's long-time partner.

Bathroom surprise
Having assisted the grapevine to creep along the rails of the back pergola, I noticed there was a lovely green shady hue outside the window. An unexpected surprise!

New bits
All from a garden sale in Goodna. Gave them a quick spray with white paint and they look pleasing! All of these pieces, together, came to only $20!
