Winter solstice : Jun 21-22

At last, the shorter days are over, and they lengthen but just a tiny bit each day. We are closer to Summer! The garden this morning:

I mowed outside the fence yesterday as well as trimmed the outside hedges. Today I swept the gutters of leaves, ciggie butts and other dirt, and threw it in the green bin for the Council pick-up this week. The garden is only growing slowly now that we are in the depths of winter and just for 5 minutes, I am pleased that it is looking tidy and contained. I need more money! On Wednesdays, my day off from work, I mow the inside fence lawns, and rake up leaves.
