Blue plumbago is growing

...finally, after it's transplanting from the front corner (the white one is there now).

The rest of the grass is so dry - we have no rain for over 2 months.

Can I have a bull-nose roof on the verandah?

...like the little shop down the road?

When my reno gets going, I will have to carefully sort out with the builders what I can get done for my money. It would be nice to have a new roof on the verandah at front.




Been in my house for two years today!

Not always happily. I think I bought in haste, and am certainly repenting at leisure but at least I have a home, and a job...

I don't want to be like the homeless situations in the articles below...


I've had Taffy for two years, Tutti for one, and Tiina is only nine months old. Somewhere between March and September 2016, I lost Janey, my second cat to a car hit.

The grass is dry due to no rain for almost 3 months, but the plants are growing and the house has improved a wee bit.


It's very slow progress, but I do get enormous pleasure from tending my garden.
