Early baby grapes Oct 2020 - Jan 2021

I am surprised at how prolific the grape vines above the utilities walk appear to be. So many bunches of tiny grapes! I'm wondering how the vine can support and ripen all of them.

Anne asked me about them yesterday.

22 October, 2020 - I took some better photos this morning (my day off). There are so many bracts of grapes, and they must be the flowers, which fall before fruit, because there is green fairy dust all over the utilities walk. And the bees! I can ear them humming as soon as I step outside!

23 Nov 2020 - Plenty of grapes developing!

24 Jan 2021 - bounty!

It rained!

I heard it falling at about 1.30am this morning, and arose to take a cup of tea and watch it fall outside. It was lovely, and this morning the ground looks damp. It was not heavy rain, but fell steadily and was enough to soak in for the planties!
