Wisteria vine - new season, Oct 2019 - Jan 2020

I have been concerned about this vine for some time. There does not seem to be  much growth. At last, I noticed a little shoot, so I hope this portends well for the future of the plant.

15 Oct 2019 -  It seems to fade as soon as it comes out. I don't know why. Perhaps it is too hot for it in this position?

21 Dec 2019 - After what seems like weeks of watering, with a little new growth, I was surprised and happy to see the signs of blossoms on the vine this afternoon! 

The colour looks deep and rich velvety purple.

22 Dec 2019 - Flowers are showing more today. Gorgeous colour.

Brother arrives and gets installed.

Dubbs came up yesterday after driving from Cobar.

He was very tired but made it safely, thank goodness. The doggies came out of the truck into my garden, and Dubbs put their beds down. The kitties are too scared to move far from me!

I managed to get his bedroom into shape for him.

This morning he moved the trailer into my yard and unpacked it. Mum came over for coffee, and they 'face-timed' with his girls.

I then mowed, raked and swept.
And lo! He set himself up on my dining table.
