I painted the top half of the front fence

It was needing a refresh and I had only enough energy and paint to do the little top sections along that side this morning. I will get around to finishing the bottom section at some stage.

I painted the front window shades

Got up at 5ish to paint them, as the sun beats in on that side of the house in the afternoon and we have been having 35 degree days lately. First coat: used painters' tape too.

Johnny and Connor visit

John came back to add some washers under the screws on the shaeds, and to grind off the long ends of those screw, so that they did not stick out, and everything looked better. Connor, his son, fifth child, first of his second marriage, and my cousin, came as well, to help him carry out the big piece of furniture I was giving him.
