Garden shots in terrible heat

Dreadfully hot today - they predicted 40 C but it got to 37. Yesterday it was 39!

Watering becomes very important to keep everything alive. After all my hard work, I'm not going to let it burn up without a fight.

How good is this looking?

I suddenly saw this spot from a new vantage point today and thought...hmmm...there is definitely potential growing there. It was a clean, clear light on a very hot day, and I could imagine when it's all level and green - how pretty, indeed. Lots of work needed, but I can see how it could look so good.
