Last weekend of the holidays
I titivated the garden yesterday - trimmed front fence hedge, whip-snipped, mowed and this morning, up at 6.30 am to rake-n-tidy, and pot up some of the smaller plants I have (until they are bigger and can be planted out into the garden).
So hot still, even though quite overcast. We had a bit of rain overnight - just a few drips, but at least everything is damp.
Here are shots of the garden at this point in time, and of me, sans make-up, all gummie and just-woken:
It would be good to have a walkway down this route, looking something like this -

And here's a tip for the kids about gardening not just being for wimpy old people -
