Next door's poinciana

At the back, this tree is huge and glorious in the summer when it flowers. It's even bigger than in my previous posts about it.



Last weekend of the holidays

I titivated the garden yesterday - trimmed front fence hedge, whip-snipped, mowed and this morning, up at 6.30 am to rake-n-tidy, and pot up some of the smaller plants I have (until they are bigger and can be planted out into the garden).

So hot still, even though quite overcast. We had a bit of rain overnight - just a few drips, but at least everything is damp.
