The first white bauhinia flower!
And here it is! The first one, which I think has come out due to all the recent rain. I am glad she is a white one, as that's what I wanted there. So, so gorgeous.

Grandfather's beard
Jeannette Meier (across the road) gave me heaps of this over various occasions and I am glad to have it displayed in my garden.
It has enhanced my garden, I think, and helped to make it look established. It looked so pretty this morning with the dew drops on it from the rain.
El Nina
We are apparently in a phase of El Nina which brings us heaps of rain. It has rained solidly for a good two weeks or so now, with an overcast day here and there, enough to mow the lawns, thank goodness.
This morning the rain had gone all day yesterday and all night last night, and the ground is sodden.
