Native sweet pea bush plus update March 2020

For a while, branches of this shrub died off, but with watering, they seem to have come back. I love its pretty little purple flower.

5 March 2020 - Sadly, this plant has finally given up the ghost. So sad - she was so pretty. I cut off the dead branches and will pull out the stump on the weekend.

Mini crepe myrtle dark pink

This is a dwarf variety but it is doing quite well, and flowering for the first time. I staked it up this morning, so adjust its shape to more upright rather than prostrate.

The buds have a strange 'frosted' look to them before they burst open.
