Painting needed - holiday job

The plan in the Sept one week school hol that I get is to paint some ends of the pergola -

At Bunnings on the weekend just gone, I chose the paint I need too:

John's garden - at his home

I like the big stones at the back of John's place. Think I will try to emulate that affect at the back of my place, with large stones and a dry bed creek for rain water to flow down the side.

John's brilliant brunfelsia out the front:

Slim pickings for the last chooka

One of my last two chookas died this morning. I found her little body.

I have one left, and there are precious few trimmings for her in the soil at the moment. Poor chooka. I'm not going to replace the others. I'm going to miss them though.

She looks a bit lonely here.

And the real thing, in all it's glory:

Frangi-love, Lindy's piece, growing slowly.

Puddies inside, and outside

I wake up to purrs and 'kisses' like this most days. The furry faces are interchangeable!

Lounging about on a hot Saturday afternoon.
