The wisteria flowered!

What a joy!

'John's Garden' needs an update

Looking at this photo, I can see what this area needs. A focus or something, in the centre. I need a wee bridge or some other feature, perhaps a gazebo.

Maybe I can make a garden path out of these old bricks.

As at 29 April, 2019: Nothing has been done to improve things, although the murrayas have grown some. The plastic needs taking up, and more murrayas need to be planted.

Now it's up to Optus to come install!

Wisteria tree making a comeback + updates

After I again chopped it with the whippy-snip, here she is, valiantly making a come-back.

4 June 2019: growing well above her pole now.

Going ok still - 15 June 2019-

4 July, 2019 -

Still going ok. I'll have to be extra careful with the whip-snip when I get it out again. Not much need for it whilst the growing is slower during the winter months.

14 Sept 2019 - getting taller. I'm leaving her alone, to do her thing. (I see a puddy-tat).

12 Oct 2019 -

Calathea #2

Calathea from Salvo's seems to like her new pot and position.

3 April, 2019: New growth -

Blue butterfly bush blossoms + 2020 updates

These three plants seem to have taken and are doing ok. Such pretty flowers. I must keep the water up to them. They seem to like it not dry.

3 April, 2019:

16 August 2020 - These seemed to suffer during the winter and became quite bare, although a few flowers poked through. I have kept the water up to them, and I notice lots of new buds on the ends of the bare canes today!
