I put the bird cages hanging in the trees today, after mowing the lawns. Don't know why I didn't do it before, as they look great!

Back garden growing
Front garden grown in, blakeana
These current pictures show it as looking quite thick, but there are still gaps and some thinning from dropped leaves over winter. I am wanting to increase the thickness, but including cuttings of red bougainvillea and hardenbergia of various colours to improve the 'impenetrability of view' to the inside of my fence.
I am also looking forward, this season, to increased growth and height of the plants INSIDE the fence (frangipanis, uodia, pink trumpet tree, jacaranda and blakeana)!
Early bloomings Aug 2020
Winter not officially over yet but there are stirrings in the garden! Light pink rose is flowering, with several gorgeous buds, as is the windmill jasmine. The latter has a beautiful scent, though faint.
Late winter fog
My day off work (Thursdays). Got up to take my morning walk, and noticed the fog around. Usually a sign of a warmer day and indeed it is supposed to be 29 today. A cool and inauspicious start though!
Here are some photos before I started out and of neighbourhood streets along the way, fog-ridden.
