The Garden, on the first day of 2019

Leopard lily's up again + updates

The last time they were up was Jan 2018, as in THIS post. They look gorgeous again.

The location is the same, but myyyy! the garden around it has really grown in a year.

THEN

NOW

14 Jan 2019:

Wisteria starts to grow in situ (end Dec 2018) + updates

14 Jan 2019: growth!

22 Jan 2019:
Growing well so far. I've enhanced the green in these two photos so it can be seen more clearly.

Pretty pics - end Dec 2018

OK, so one of these shows a lot of work needed, but the others are pretty.

White crepe myrtle, second plant small

How joyful that it turned out to be another white one! It's a dwarf variety but I do so hope it grows big.

She's looking lovely in bloom, 1 Jan 2019.

22 Jan 2020 - Much bigger this year - how the garden has grown!

And here's my Tutti, lying on the grass in the afternoon, as she likes to do.

Me doing ordinary things, end Dec 2018

and it is this body which has achieved this...

Sun setting on garden as the year fades - end 2018

I am so happy that the garden is looking so pretty, 3.5 years since I started.

End of December (31st) activity in 'John's Garden'

Managed to drag the big roll of black plastic around to the front garden, and to cut it into sizes to cover this area. What a job.

Before...

After...

Bit of a mess, but it will look fine once I rearrange the white bits again. This is how it will look (slightly incomplete in this though) -

to this...

There's a bit of work to go on yet, not the least to buy more plants to suit the job.

The foreman on the job! Tutti keeping me company!

18 May 2019 -  I decided to remove the plastic, as it had deteriorated in the sun. It was a messy, dirty job, but it's now gone, and I will be back to whip-snipping that part of the garden again, until the murrayas grow bigger.
