The green credenza story

One of my favorite pieces of furniture. I saw this at a restaurant in Saigon and immediately fell in love. Had to have one.

Vignettes outside

Whilst I hate the container being there, it IS serving a purpose. Everything looks tidy. I like that.

Lindy's house

I had occasion to go to Lindy's place - I worked with her at Coorparoo. She gave me a big piece of frangi tree which is now growing in my garden.

I wanted to give her my old sewing box - I don't know how I acquired this, but I've had it for years, in storage. I've never used it. On the second-hand market, they are worth about $60+.

I knew Lindy is into vintage and loves to sew, so I decided to gift it to her. Her Instagram account shows the things she has sewn for her daughters.

Her daughter, Harriet

So I left the box on her doorstep today, after admiring her very pretty house.

And in return, she gave me some hippeastrum bulbs from her garden! Look how gorgeous they are in flower!
