Reading - Sept hols, 2026

Wonderful story - so sad that they did not bring home the Australian or British horses from WW1. I did not enjoy the Aussie-slang although it was an accurate depiction of the way ordinary farm boys would have spoken at the time.
This one was good, although a tad boring as one who knows the play well. Jackie French uses the lingo from the play, the words Juliet uses, adding her thoughts as a wilful young girl as well. I enjoyed most the contextual notes at the end of the novel. She did depict Juliet as a woman ahead of her time, and ultimately successful in her striving for independence.
Loving this one - am just at the start - Chapter 2, as at 031026.

Finally read this one - loved it's feel good, and happy ending.

Am sickened at the senseless selfishness of scumbag criminals of the killing Dr Victor Chang.

Wanting to read this as it is of great interest at the moment.
