One of my favorite pieces of furniture. I saw this at a restaurant in Saigon and immediately fell in love. Had to have one.

Vignettes outside
Whilst I hate the container being there, it IS serving a purpose. Everything looks tidy. I like that.
Lindy's house
I had occasion to go to Lindy's place - I worked with her at Coorparoo. She gave me a big piece of frangi tree which is now growing in my garden.
I wanted to give her my old sewing box - I don't know how I acquired this, but I've had it for years, in storage. I've never used it. On the second-hand market, they are worth about $60+.
I knew Lindy is into vintage and loves to sew, so I decided to gift it to her. Her Instagram account shows the things she has sewn for her daughters.
And in return, she gave me some hippeastrum bulbs from her garden! Look how gorgeous they are in flower!

Her daughter, Harriet
So I left the box on her doorstep today, after admiring her very pretty house.

23 Nov 2018: It seems to be doing ok. I will have to keep an eye on it for black spot and fertilise it, but for now, she is growing quite well.

11 Sept, 2018:
It seems to be budding which is a good sign, although this has happened with other plants here before, but they don't last long after. I'm still keen to relocate this one, or maybe just buy another to plant in companion with the white one at the front.
Pink buds!
22 Sept, 2018 - Buds open!
25 Sept - Flared a bit.

More buds to open -
19 Nov 2019 - I feel like the drought has caused it to flower uproariously, before it dies due to lack of water.
7 Dec 2019 -
