Digging out the patch for sand and pavers

Ready for the emptying of the container on this Friday, with Mike and Loretta helping. It was such hard work, doing that shovelling.

I quickly worked out that using the forked rake would be a bit easier - I pushed and pulled and eventually manage to get the surface to move, and then shovel it out.

I was sweating like a navvy, but at least I was strong enough to do it, and to redistribute the dirt around the garden.

I also shovelled the first of the sand/gravel this morning too.
