Finally, some of the hippies that Lindy gave me years ago have appeared. They are in a semi-shadey spot but I think they get enough light from the road to flower.
I had seen the start of a bud a few weeks ago and wondered whether it was an aspi but today, whilst I was watering, lo! I noticed the beautiful red colour of these amongst the green foliage.
