Sept 20 - my 3 girls

Waiting on da bed for Mumma to come to sleep

My darling Teenie - Sept 22 and 26, before and after Childers trip.

Childers - shoes, Sept 2024

About a year ago, I saw these shoes in the special shoe shop in Childers. I finally bought them - to my surprise they were still in the shop when I came back about a year later, almost to the day!

Sept 28 - the end of the nasturtiums

They have provided som much joy and cheerful colour all winter long. How I love them, and am grateful for them.
I have had them scatttered about the house in little vases for weeks and weeks. It has made a huge difference to have these pretties available during the cold weather.

Sunday Sept 29 - my hoya is on fire!

So beautiful! I am so happy it has found its' spot to be happy, under the branches of the flame tree.

Shelfies - Sept 19, 20, and 29

I actually put up a third floating shelf in the bathroom, by myself!
Earlier (Sept 28, Sat) I had cleaned and re-organised my kitchen cupboards...
and made a big kitchen pretty shelf, which I do enjoy looking at.

Walking sticks

Mum bought a pretty one today, for when she feels unsteady on her feet. She also had her Aged care Assessment today, by a bloke called james. It was an ordeal and he as not very professional. Still, he said he was 'renting in North Ipswich', and we know the types he most frequently would have to deal with, I suppose. A professional approach would totally bamboozle them.
A kid at school (Miryam) had a black umbrella with a gorgeous dark grey greyhound head on the end of the handle. I loved it!

Curlews at work

Lovely little curlew pair sitting on an egg.
I can't tell you how any kids I've had to yell at to get them to leave the birds alone and leave them be. Despite the orange fencing, put up by Mike, the workman, to warn them away from the area, they just want to hurl stones, sticks, toys and objects at them. What is wrong with these kids? Finally, after the end of third term holiday break, the chick has hatched! They are gorgeous, but still the brats in Yr 8 threw books at them, out of the Library window. Honestly, disgusting behaviour.
