Updating the house - lots of smaller jobs.
Little projects:
1. Window film on the back bedroom window,so can't see in, even with light on. There is also a blind which is helpful.
Half done -
All done -
2. Going to make a frill for the top of the window out of this fabric, as well as two pleated lampshade covers for the Asian green metal lamps in my bedroom.
Rearranging this room and moving the heavy furniture is going to gtake me a while.
Using this video for the lampshades: https://www.youtube.com/live/l8ZolSqVfD8?t=903s
3. Been adding beading to the interior doors to upgrade them a bit:
Obviously doing all the doors is going to take a while.
4. Bought shelves for the shed - have yet to put them up and rearrange everything.
5. Plan on getting a roll-a-door for the garage. For privacy.
6. New roofing for house. Ray. Maybe.
7. Extension out the back, and new concrete. Possible new laundry location. Or storage.
8. I hemmed all the curtains in the lounge, using hemming tape. Big job.
9. Getting quote for shutters in lounge to block out the heat, alSO AWNINGS mounted to the outside front windows. Perhaps one on the side too.
10. Quote for new hot water tank. Old one to be removed, and now one to go outside. With cover made by Henning.
11. Got a new tap for the garden, outside at the front. cameron from I'm, Your Plumber installed it on 13 Jan.
13. Made a pretty pic using a second-hand frame and wrapping paper bought by Simon for Christmas, which I adore.
14. Covered a lampshade already -
15. Bought more fabric to cover another lamp in the spare room -
16. Bought film from Temu to put in my skylight to soften the light -
17. Bought and painted new tables - so lightweight and so pretty, with leaves and butterflies:
18. Dubbs visited -
19. Have yet to put mirror film inside my china cupboards as a backdrop to all the little things in there:
20. Investigated trim for the corners of the lattice on the house - have to ask Julian about it (woodwork at school):
21. Bought more stones from Dean Nathalier at Karalee for the lower parts of the garden.
22. Actually put up a tree and deccies for Christmas ( see other post).
23. Bought stuff from Cosco for Christmas, like Portuguese tarts and prawn trays.
24. Decorated a nice pav.
25. Trimmed the mulberry tree and cut up all the branches for disposal :
Arranged to have the bigger trees trimmed by Joel (Rosewood), and the chip put in my front garden.
Caught a summer cold and have almost recovered. Not Covid.
