Beautiful visitor

I got a lovely visit from a magpie this morning 11.55, just as I was leaving for work.

It's also 'bin day'!

Cleaned up spare room - sort of

It was a stunningly clear warm morning. I just felt like sitting and sitting on the verandah.

I tidied up the spare room, by cleaning the 'new' bunk bed frame, moving them into place and piling all the junk on the floor onto the slat bed bases. I will get simple foam mattresses eventually, just to off-set the weight but I can't see it's going to be soon that I get it sorted. Although I am more motivated now that it's all in one place. Excited even. The room looks more like a room, rather than a junk pile. Even better - I can slide items under the beds! Cool.

I like the pink main decor colour too.

Repotting the calliandra hula girl + update

So, this calliandra is not doing as well -

I'm going to have to repot it.

5 Nov 2017: I repotted her today. She did start doing better, with new leaves but I thought she looked a bit forlorn there. Hopefully the pot will suit her as she grows.

Update 28 Nov 2018: I moved the hula girl to the side of the back garden, and hope it gets bigger there.
