Stern little fellow

Saw him in Spotlight - had to have him!

Aloyius.

I'm sure that antler has a life of it's own!

Hello Chinese money plant

Pilea peperomioides, known as Chinese money plant, pancake plant, lefse plant, or missionary plant, is a species of flowering plants in the family Urticaceae, native to Yunnan Province in southern China.

Bought for a song at a recent garden party, I'm working hard on keeping it alive!

Beach spider lily - white

Sacred Lily of the Incas, the fine fragrant white flowers of the Hymenocallis

Apparently they can be transplanted as bulbs, and bloom pretty easily, everywhere, so I shall be transplanting them, after this flowering season, to the edges of the garden beds.

Front corner

On Dec 8, 2016:

And now, one year later! So much work, so much watering!

In the recent rains -

Covering the side fence

This was the honeysuckle and the galpinii on Dec 8 2016.

So small! And look at it go, now!

The full picture - maybe I need to plant some more to get it to spread across the fence?

It took a year to become properly established and to take off. Many waterings and much care and supervision (tying up, pruning to shape) in between!
