Little willy waggy

I noticed this little fellow last week, flitting about the western end of the yard. Here he is again today. I do hope he and his wives have taken up residence!

I saw him at the water bowl, so perhaps it's that which is keeping him near?

Coffee with my sweetie this morning

Sitting out the back having coffee. The place needs a big clean up, and a bucket load more money to bring it all together-looking.

Book tree seed pods

With a strong wind a few days ago, she dropped many of her seed pods and I have retrieved many seeds from the ground.

I love their round smoothness, size and colour. Kind of like dollar shells. I've saved many for future planting and maybe sell the small saplings.

26 Nov 2019 -  One seed must have landed in this pot with the palm, as I noticed this morning, when watering, that little leaves had shot up! I'm going to foster this one and grow her up, if she lasts. I could see immediately, by her sweet little leaf shape, what she was!

First new flower buds on white crepe myrtle for Summer 2019

She has one branch (far left) which is taller than the rest and I hope this is a sign she is going to grow much, much bigger.

15 Nov 2019 -  Looking to burst forth!

17 Nov 2019 - and here they are! The season's first frilly flowers.

20 Nov 2019 -

16 Dec 2019 - lots more buds.

26 Dec 2019 - Plenty of buds and just starting to show - we've had plenty of rain for two nights this week, and hot and humid during the day, so I think that has helped this little lovely tree.

3 Jan 2020 - Lovely white blooms

First frangis of Summer 2019 in John's Garden

I've been making sure I water them this year, to ensure some flowering and growth in height.

16 Oct 2019 - Red frangi

Fruit salad -

Beautiful whorls -

19 Nov 2019 - The fruit salad frangi is flowering well, but not the blood red so much.

Rose 3, on second arch (John's Garden)

Growing well.

7 Dec 2019 -

26 Dec 2019 - Think it enjoyed last night's gift of rain - the second evening in a week that we've had some. What a blessing.
