Desparate for a new coop - hutch

This one, please.

This is the one I photographed at Rissons today: darker wood, or discoloured due to weathering?

UPDATE 26 MARCH 2016 -

Saw this hutch (below) at the Wildey Street Plants Plus Nursery recently - like it very much. I haven't yet asked where it comes from, but will get around to that.

My furry girls

The beasts

'Flit' the bird #1

He's doing pretty well - eating and pooing; looking bright eyed, and alert. His feathers have grown.

Let's hope he survives the awful heat (33 C today) and lives another day, week, month...

Thanks for his name, Peta!

Where did the cats go?

These two amuse me every single day.

Guilty, as charged, of the indolence of their species!!

House - current view

OMG - soooo much to be done!

Neat grounds (due to my slaving at the mower!) but...indistinct.

Needs a carport and shed.

Needs to 'go up' in the central section, to block off the house behind. Plenty of reno potential, and space for plants/trees to grow.

Kitchen capers - how to style?

Boy, a lot needs doing in this kitchen. Paint the cupboards white! Line the back of them with shiny paper! Remodel the whole kitchen! Get more modern up-to-the-minute-appliances! Style the shelves! You don't have a dish-washer? Argghhhhh!!!

Thing is, I'm fine with it. It's survivable, people. If you've ever lived in Asia, and seen how others have to live, you'd understand. Your shallow world view is showing.

And I like all my stuff. Having it on show is cool with me. It makes me feel homey and comfortable. So there. Shut up.

Wisteria wandering, at last

I'm thrilled to see that it is growing, sending out this one long tendril which I have directed along the front of the house. It's on string, secured with nails. One day, when the house is remodelled a wee bit, those white stripey pillar bits will come off. Hate them. Hopefully, the flowers when out will be pink, fragrant and gorgeous and you won't notice the white crap!

Here's how it was, at first...
