Honeysuckle in bud and flower

Isn't it too cold for them at this time of year? I shall have to read up on this! (P.P.S. apparently they do flower in winter)

Look how tiny this once was (below)! From Oct 2016, only 8 months ago, before I had the supporting wire attached to the fence. Good growth! It probably needs more fertiliser this Spring.

Bauhinia galpinii - new buds and growth

New buds on the galpinii! It has grown to fence height and will compliment the honeysuckle growing along there too. I love it!

7.45 am - After 2 days of rain and grey sky - we awake to sunshine!

Tutti on top of the trailer.
Garden doesn't look much, but it IS coming together.

Love that huge poinciana next door!

My brother is home

Amanda Keller to visit Ipswich, Aug 4.

Garden vignette

The weather has been so lovely so far - sunny every day, even though the mornings and evenings are cool.

I can deal with winter like this.

Little vignette of a garden buddha, my pinky azalea, and gardenia. Both of which need feeding.

Christmas cactus - schlumbergera

Lovely tiny thing purchased at Bunnings a few weeks ago - about to flower now!

There are also some cuttings I received from Jeannette in this pot - don't know what colours but I love these plants.

I hope the pink one grows to look as good as this -

18 June 2020 -

Mine seems to be going ok, but probably needs repotting now.
