Another boug

Bought it from Maree from Little Pee Dee Nursery (she has a stall at the Ipswich markets. I went on Sunday 20 Aug).

This one is orangey, turning pink when flowers mature.

Update Sept 3, 2017: Father's Day

I planted it in the ground in this spot today.

Book-orchid has buds

Look! Buds! Even though the tree is young, I see progress. Can hardly wait to see what colour this one is - the pink or the white.

Update: Sept 3, 2017 - Father's Day:
Turns out, it's the pink one

Red galpinii - finally - first flower!

Saw this on the weekend (19th Aug) and was so pleased! Finally!

I look forward to the fence being awash with red flowers!

Summery day

Panoramic view.

All da boidies..

and the palms.

Backyard shots

I moved the plants from out the back, to around to the side for more sun and to create a more garden effect on the 'patio'. I still need a lot more, and bigger ones.

Starting to flower this August 2017

Beautiful pink

From Mum's garden - the brilliant red colour (given her from Sonia in Childers)

Jasmine is flowering!

Oh happy day!

The jasmine at the front of the house is flowering! I weaved a bit more around the wire so it would stand up more, and oh the fragrance was lovely! So summer-y!

I took some off-cuts inside to put in a vase.

Shane Stephensen and Dan the draftsman came round this morning to see my house and discuss building needs,

and I have a day off tomorrow (for the Brisbane Ekka, which I am not attending)!

Note 18 Jan 2018: Just pulled out this jasmine as it died for some reason. What a shame.

Update: 16 Aug 2017:

It's the Ekka People's day. I am heavy a big rest day - no work, nothing. Just a bit here and there and plenty of sitting. No visiting. Just maybe get a pedicure and some more plastic stems from K Mart as they look quite good in this basket (below).

I feel very low and weary of it all. Hope I get my mo-jo back.
