Last gasp for the frangi before winter

Gates #2

I decided the cream gates would be better used to barricade each end of the verandah.

I bought these on Gumtree:

and will use the double set for the driveway, and the single one for the gate where the mailbox is.
All with spikes at the top, to make it harder to climb them. I hope.

Here they are - delivered this morning by Mark and Leslie.

I bought these two on Facebook Brisbane Buy and Sell - so pleased with them. I wanted them to be black, but now, as the greenery will grow all over and up the new fenceline, it will be easier to see these cream ones.

I texted Ashley that they were here - hope he comes soon to attach them.

Ashley adds mesh to 'the cage'

Utilities Walk now has a roof of sorts. I can hang plants and have them trail down and look pretty.

With old wood removed...

...and mesh to the roof of Utilities Walk, so no one can get in. And furthermore, I can attach plants hanging and creeping.

Ashley fixed the new letterbox

It looks so much better - the wire mesh out the way for opening the thing and for attaching a padlock.
