Rude buds + update
Finally growing and budding after a hiatus borne of the drought. The garden looks like it is in serious need of mulch and feeding.
Traveller's palm
In the neighbour's front yard down the road (242 RRd). It frequently has suckers. I must stop in and ask whether I can dig them up!
22 Jan 2019 - I still haven't got around to digging them up - will try for the next weekend.

New jac #3 + updates
Went to the local Sunday markets and bought this one for $10. Putting it in the ground and leaving it alone, to do it's thing. Hopefully that will work this time, and grow to semi-cover that awful power pole (see pic 2, below).
Please grow fast, little jac!
8 Feb 2019: Little jac looks green and seems to be growing ok. Not yet very tall.
10 Feb 2019: Relentless heat.
30 March 2019: Seems to be ok. Recent rain has helped with growth. I'll be pleased when she reaches the top and over the supporting pole.

Update 4 Feb, 2019: She has grown taller, and is now throwing a wee bit of shade! How lovely. It will be great and very welcome shelter when she is bigger. The drought is having an effect on her growth. I do water her but as she is a weed, and I have lost 2 others through over-care, I am trying to leave her alone to do her own thing.
Here's the carpet and shadow provided by the Churchie jacs:

26 April, 2019: Almost at the top of her support pole!
New agapanthus
Went to local Sunday morning markets for the first time in months, and bought a couple of agapanthus, for $5 each.
Here's hoping they take and grow and spread. I will buy more another time.

Vic and Isobel
Vic and I have been friends for 20 years this year.
We met at the Albury Skating Rink, when we were both on duty for Sport on Tuesday afternoons at James Fallon High School (Albury North High School in our day).
Isobel died in 2016 of breast cancer. Martin died as a result of a (Ducati) motorbike accident in 2005.

Big fleshy face and nose
The flowers I took to work on 29 Nov 2018, for my work birthday morning tea. It was so boring, and they didn't even sing me HB. The flowers comfort me a great deal in this horrible place.
