Kitty birthdays and ages
Tiina born late Oct-early Nov 2016 - is 3 in Dec 2019. Will be 4 in Oct-Nov 2020.
Taffy - was 18 months old when I got her. I've had her since late 2015. She must now be almost 6 now then, in Dec 2019.
Tutti - born April 2016 - in Dec 2019 is 3. Going to be 4 in April 2020.
In 2020, Taffy will be 7 in June, Tutti will be 4 in April, and Tiina will be 4 in Oct-Nov.

PS Taffy was put to sleep due to cancer on 10 September 2020. I have buried her in my front garden. She was so beautiful.

New type of wandering jew
Pinched a couple of pieces from The Smug Fig, a small cafe and nursery near where I work. Will try to propagate it in my garden, at the back.

New pelargonium/geranium
Lovely pink, bought from Salvos last weekend. Not sure which it is, geranium or pelar.

Planted the new hibiscus
Bought cheaply at Salvos - 'snow-queen hibiscus'. I just love the variegated leaf and the red flower. I have a smaller version on one side of the gate. I want it to grow and cover up that edge of the fence where it joins next-door's. That's an awkward are which would look better blocked in and not visible from the road. Good thing is I can shape the hibiscus to suit, too.
I moved the jasminum nitidum to the gate-side of the area there. I noticed a purple lantana growing there too, and decided to let it stay. I'll limit it's growth and maybe get it to spread in some lower areas, at least to cover the dirt.
