Twilight garden

I mowed the lawn late as I had been busy all day. I love how it looks with the grass mown, and everything tidy.

Queen's Wreath #3

I bought this tiny one from and planted it in the front.

Then it rained quite heavily and it seemed to like that, sprouting a whole gamut of fresh green leaves.

25 Jan 2020 - Today these look quite healthy and I hope it keeps going. The purple flower, eventually, looks gorgeous.

23 Feb 2020 - All the recent rain has had a galvanising effect on this plant - new growth and shooting leaves, I'm pleased to observe.

5 March 2020 - She's reached the top of the lattice now.

22 April, 2020 -  I am watering her quite frequently as I think she likes it, and does not like drying out.

A peaceful afternoon

I came home from work and needed a break from all the sitting and thinking. I decided to mow the lawn as it was getting a bit out of hand. Even though it was hot, I went at it and managed to tidy things although the edges need a whip-snip as soon as I can (weekend).

It looks more tidy and I enjoyed the after-effect. Very peaceful and cool in the late outside air, Even Tutti enjoyed it!

It certainly soothed my soul after a demanding day at work.

What is this tree? Pink EUODIA

Saw this at my new place of work today and noticed that the lorikeets love it. I wonder what it is? I will make enquiries. Beautiful blossom.

I enquired via a Facebook Plant Identifier group and it is a pink Euodia.
I've ordered one from Daleys Nursery.

15 May 2020 - It arrived!

Rain!

A short video of the rain falling at 5.30 am on Saturday 18 Jan 2020, in my front yard.
So good to have it, at last.
