Interesting home
Lots of lovely antiques and collections and pattern, but a bit grubby, and a bit too much.
I have some of this effect but cleaner and more measured.

It reminds me of the tat in my own grandparents home when they were alive.

Still working on the shed
More shelves for shed, and lots of cleaning out going on.
The kitties took to the safety of high-up and in the shed, when the scaffolding went up today.
Their little faces!
Scaffolding for new roof goes up.
New roof going up on 22 April. Plus electrical work.
Photos of the house and scaffolding, from Mum's front garden, 10 April, 2025.
Taken from Mum's side of the street.
The rest of the shed shelves
After Bernie showed me what to do and how, and loaned me his rubber mallet, I managed to put up two more shelves. And I've just ordered another set!!
Really trying to get the shed sorted out and get rid of stuff I don't need, including a couple of old shelving units I've had since Albury days!
SWe really do collect so much crap on the way!

Repotted the orchid
I stole this one from Ron's old orchid houses before they were demolished after he died.
I had no idea what colour it was or anything. I found the little tag inside 'Belinda
Turned out it was a Singapote orchid! How appropriate for me.
I watched a few hoe to revive orchid videos on Youtube, using banana water, aloe vera water, and have snipped off the dead roots, and removed the old soil.
I have potted it up in spagnum moss and a bit of orchid soil from Bunnings.
Let's see if it grows.
This could be my new thing, orchid growing!
Poinciana update - she is growing back!
Relief that she is growing back. It will take a while for her to get to the size she was, but I am ok with that, and I am never trimming her again!
