Top of fence - Holes and Poles #1

Lecs done, now for fence

Strybos guys finished yesterday. I'm not entirely happy with where they put new power points but it can't be helped now.

Ashley left his tools here overnight, and the supplies for topping up my front fence.

I am just worried that the holes he has dug are too far out from the fence, although in some spots, I guess he couldn't get much closer, really.

Red frangi

This one is from Tracey next door, before she and Andrew moved to Harvey Bay.

I love this colour. It seems to be hanging on in that position.

I have to find a Frangipani rust medicine for the plants.

Happenings

Strybos are back this morning (Dan and Zach) to complete some small jobs - earth the 6 lights in the smaller rooms of the house. This involves removing the roof sheets, and wiring them from up there.

Also installing power points out the back of the house, where I would like to relocate the laundry, and on the verandah where I like to connect the fan on a hot day.

Also, Ashley is there with his bob-cat hole digger, drilling holes for the posts which will hold up the upper part of my fence.
Ashely's truck out front with all his great and the cute little blue bobcat
Dan on my roof, doing the wiring.
Ashley digging in the holes for the new posts to hold up the upper sections of fence mesh.

Post holes. I thought he might get them all concreted in today, but alas, the supplier had run out of posts today. Also, Ashley's co-worker was off work, and I think it's a two man job. It's true that things always seem to take longer, and cost more! Ugh.
I am thrilled that the edge of the garden is thickening up, as the planties grow.

Ashley on the bobcat.
Thanks, and bottoms up chappies!

BBQ

Second hand but great! Can't wait to use it!

P.S. In the end I threw it out as it would not light - useless thing!!

James loading the container

It was a full morning,from 7am to 1pm. He took a smoko, I didn't.

That's it! The container is full!

And I'm left to clear up the bits...

and the mess along 'Utilities Walk'!

Waiting for Lizzie Gecko

The girls love to sit in wait for the resident geckos to appear and then swat at the window glass, trying to capture them! Taffy has already broken a vase doing that. Beast! They so make me laugh!
